Hello Friends
Have you noticed that "it's beginning to look a lot like
Christmas everywhere you go"? I've been singing that song all week....it's driving Mike mad!
This time next week and the celebration begins. I can't wait to see the grandchildren's faces as they open their presents, it's the highlight of Christmas to me.
And the whole family here over two days, bliss.
This is my card for Papertake Weekly.
As it's the penultimate week, you are allowed to choose your favourite challenge of the year and re-do it.
For a change, I have made an un-Christmas card.
I chose this Mo Manning image because there will be a lot of this going on next week. I just love to see toddlers eating chocolate. It melts even before it reaches their mouth and goes on a journey round the face first.
This little cutie has just started to eat hers 'cos her face is clean!
I have a confession to make now. I am ashamed to own up to eating a large tube of pink Smarties and a pack of Whisper bars destined for Christmas stockings. I have also eaten a box of M&S mince pies........and I think Father Christmas might have ticked me as "naughty" on his list. Definitely not "nice".
The papers are My Minds Eye ( no surprise - love 'em) stitched to Kraft card and inked with distress ink. The flowers are Wild Orchid, ribbon Ribbon Girls.
Coloured with Copics and a touch of Prisma pencil.
You can't see, but I glazed the chocolate with a Sakura Glaze pen to make it look more real.
I will be back on Thursday with my Marvelous Magnolia card.
I would like to wish all my followers a blessed and happy Christmas time. Thank you for being my friends throughout the year, it has been a joy to know you all.
Hugs 'n big Christmas smiles
